RETAIL/ PROPOSAL 2014
N27 Architects was appointed to design and contact administration for Sushi Hon branch at MLC Centre.
MLC Centre is designed by Harry Seidler, and it's is honour our project is become a part of his master pieces. Our design shows a mix of influences from Seidler's design concepts ; Curve, international style, and modern.
The palette of materials shows the mixture of old and new in Japanese architecture. The marble represents the concrete and heaviness. Timber veneer shows traditional timber fishing boat.
Cutting the marble in curved shape and Inserting brass strip between marble panels were our big challenge. It is thrilled to see the outcome!
